2 women thieves held in Warangal
CCS police presenting two women thieves before the media in Warangal on Wednesday
Warangal: The CCS police on Wednesday arrested two women thieves and seized jewellery worth around Rs 1 lakh from them.
The women were identified as Gandikota Nookalamma alias Uyyala Kumari and Uyyala Mariamma alias Bujji of Duvva village in West Godavari of Andhra Pradesh.
The other member Gandikota Kadamma is at large.
According to CCS Inspector David Raju, the accused used to rob gold ornaments of women travelling in auto-rickshaws. Following a tip-off, the police arrested the duo near Kasibugga area.
