ACB raids Osmania Medical College professor's house
ACB officials carried out searches at residence of Osmania Medical College Prof B Balaji on Thursday.
Hyderabad: ACB officials carried out searches at residence of Osmania Medical College Prof B Balaji on Thursday.
The ACB sleuths conducted searches at the Head of Department's house at DD Colony in Amberpet and at Osmania Medical College office and seized many key documents related to the allegations of procuring disproportionate assets.
The under graduate and post graduate students had complained to the ACB against the HoD alleging that he collected money from the students to pass them in the internal exams.
After getting evidences against him that he had collected Rs 3 lakh from 16 PG students and Rs 8 lakh from 250 under graduate students and Rs 75,000 from other two students, they raided his house. By registering the case they remanded him.
