Medak: Even as food poisoning and adulteration cases are alarmingly rising, the officials concerned do not seem to be bothered. When a person visited the collectorate to complain about adulteration to the food security officer at 12 noon on Thursday, the door was locked.

He told THI that it was his second visit and could not meet the officer. People like him demand the reason for keeping the office locked. "If he is on field, there should someone or a display notice to inform us so to avoid making rounds," he deplored said.
