BJP demands TRS government to make all orders public
BJP National Executive Committee member P Shekhar on Thursday demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to make public all the orders issued regarding the construction of multi-crore lift irrigation project Kaleshwaram, Mission Bhagiratha and other important works taken up by State government.
Hyderabad: BJP National Executive Committee member P Shekhar on Thursday demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to make public all the orders issued regarding the construction of multi-crore lift irrigation project Kaleshwaram, Mission Bhagiratha and other important works taken up by State government.
Addressing the press here, the BJP leader said that he already filed a petition in the High Court and requested to instruct the government to keep all the orders in the public domain.
The TRS government had issued 1.04 lakh orders. Nearly 44,000 orders sanctioning works at the cost Rs 6 lakh crore were kept secret, he slammed.
The court already pulled up the government and asked the authorities to disclose the details of all the secret orders.
Stating that 98 per cent of the orders issued in the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh were made available to all, Shekhar said that more than 5,000 orders were not disclosed in the Home department alone.
