Boy injured as electric pole falls on him in Nizamabad

Nizamabad: A 8-year-old boy sustained severe injuries after an electric pole fell on him at Raikur village, Rudrur mandal of Nizamabad district on Monday.

A tractor loaded with soil hit the pole, which fell on the boy, whose condition is critical. Renu Kumar, the victim, was playing in front of his house and there was an electric pole near him.

Gravel and soil transport from the village has been continuing for the past few days. A tractor loaded with soil hit the pole, which fell on the boy playing nearby. He got entangled in the electric wires and severely injured. His family rushed him to Bodhan Area Hospital for treatment.
