Dedicated party workers will be given due recognition: Vamshi Chandar Reddy

Narayanpet; Congress CWC member and former MLA Dr Challa Vamshi Chandar Reddy said that every worker who had strived for bringing the party to power would be recognised and given due importance by the leadership.

A meeting of the District Congress Committee, block, mandal and town presidents was held at in Narayanpet on Wednesday. Vamshi Chandar Reddy attended the meeting as the chief guest. Newly elected DCC members were felicitated and received appointment letters on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Vamshi Chandar Reddy said he would ensure that party leaders who strove for bringing the Congress party in power that they received due recognition. He called upon Congress workers to counter what he described as the BJP’s communal politics and explain facts to the people. He said that despite the financial difficulties inherited from the previous BRS government, the Congress government was continuing welfare schemes and implementing new programmes. He urged party workers to ensure that eligible beneficiaries received government schemes and publicise government programmes through social media. He also called upon Congress leaders and workers to work collectively to strengthen the party at the state and national levels and to support Rahul Gandhi’s political efforts.
