GHMC move to save birds from oppressive heat

Hyderabad: In wake of intense summer heat, special measures have been taken at all the major parks maintained by GHMC to save birds from the scorning heat.

Water is being provided in small vessels at all the major parks to minimise the bird deaths this summer.

Urban Biodiversity Additional Commissioner Krishna said that every summer thousands of birds die to lack of water in Hyderabad.

To prevent bird deaths, small vessels containing water are being placed at several places in major places, based on the instructions of GHMC Commissioner Dana Kishore.

Krishna appealed to everyone in the city to provide water at their houses and offices to save birds.
