Hyderabad: Governor ESL Narasimhan and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao conveyed New Year greetings to all the Telugu people on the occasion of Ugadi.
On the occasion of Sri Vikari Nama Ugadi festival, Governor said, "on this happy and auspicious occasion of Ugadi, the Telugu New Year Day, I extend my warmest greetings to Telugu people across the world."
Ugadi is a festival of joy and hope and the New Year shall bring with it a new cheer and bright future, he added.
In another message, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao said, "I pray to the almighty to bless the State and people with happiness and prosperity."
