Kakatiya University employees seek hike in salaries
The temporary employees working with Kakatiya University (KU) met MLC Pochampally Srinivas Reddy on Monday and sought his support in achieving their justifiable demands.
Warangal: The temporary employees working with Kakatiya University (KU) met MLC Pochampally Srinivas Reddy on Monday and sought his support in achieving their justifiable demands. The MLC, who gave a patient listening to the employees' demands, spoke to Navin Mittal, the Commissioner, Collegiate Education & Technical Education and told him to resolve the issue.
It's learnt that Navin Mittal, also the KU executive member, had assured the MLC of looking into the issue as early as possible.
It may be mentioned here that temporary employees – daily wage, casual and lump sum - have been staging a protest during the lunch hour for the last three days demanding a hike in their salaries.
Arts and Science College employee leader Narmeta Ailaiah, SDLCE SC/ST Union joint secretary Dr Sangala Ephraim Raj and All India Universities Employees Confederation (AIUEC) Vice-President Dr Pulla Srinivas were among others. who met the MLC.
