Minister Adluri Lakshman orders timely Godavari Pushkaralu preparations

Telangana Minister Adluri Lakshman Kumar has directed officials to complete preparations in time for the Godavari Pushkaralu and provide excellent facilities to millions of devotees.

Speaking during a review meeting at the State Secretariat on Friday to discuss development projects in Dharmapuri and Kotilingala, he also said departments need to work together to complete development work quickly without compromising quality.

The minister has asked officials to provide bathing ghats, roads, parking spaces, drinking water and medical facilities. Special provisions should be made for women, seniors and the differently-abled.

The state government has allocated 1,000 crore rupees to Pushkaralu. Development projects in Dharmapuri will be completed, at an estimated cost of 226 crore rupees. New bathing ghats of 470 metres will be constructed.

The Godavari Pushkaralu will be organised between 26th June to 7th July 2027.
