Nirmal: Rythu Yantra app provides innovative services to farmers

Nirmal: District Collector M Prashanthi explained that Rythu Yantra app will provide innovative services to the convenience of the farmers like availability of farm machinery, fertilisers, seeds and crop details, horticulture and animal Husbandry services.

Speaking at a meeting with the officials of agriculture, animal husbandry and horticulture departments at the Collector's conference hall in Nirmal on Thursday, she said that the app has been introduced to provide various services to the farmers, especially to small farmers. With this app, the farmers could get form machinery like cultivator, rotavator, transport trolly, KG wheel services etc at a lesser price than the market. The app also gives the farmers the details of seeds, pesticides, gopala mitra, horticulture services, marketing techniques and many. The Collector instructed the agriculture extension officers to create awareness among the farmers on the Rythu Yantra app. The app also uploads videos of new issues related to agriculture to educate farmers on new topics, she added.

District Agriculture Officer Koteshwar Rao, District Horticulture Officer Sharath Babu, District Animal Husbandry Officer Sharath Kumar, E-District Manager Nadeem Khan, Jana Spandana Software executive Kethan and agriculture extension officers and others were present.
