RTC workers formed a human chain at NTR crossroads here on Tuesday. Police directed the traffic and beefed up security in view of the ongoing agitation by the Transport Corporation employees. Except the ruling party, all major political parties extended their support to the RTC workers who are on strike.

Police directed the traffic and beefed up security in view of the ongoing agitation by the Transport Corporation employees. Except the ruling party, all major political parties extended their support to the RTC workers who are on strike.
Former minister and Congress leader G Prasad Kumar, while extending his support to the striking workers, assured that Congress would stand by them till the issues were addressed. He said Congress party would support the proposed bandh on October 19. He thanked all the parties which came out in support of the RTC strike.
