Bhadrachalam: As part of citizen-centric administration, Sub-Collector Mrinal Shreshtha in Saturday personally received representations from senior citizens and persons with disabilities outside his office and assured them that their grievances would be addressed promptly as per rules.
The Sub-Collector later visited the ZPHS (Girls), Bhadrachalam, and interacted with students of Classes 8 to 10 regarding their studies, mid-day meals and school facilities.
He discussed career opportunities available after Class 12 and briefed the students on preparation for competitive examinations such as IIT-JEE, NEET and CUET. He encouraged them to make effective use of the computer laboratory to access online learning resources and acquire basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Microsoft Office.
Mrinal Shreshtha also encouraged the students to participate in sports, stressing their importance for maintaining physical and mental fitness.
Later, the Sub-Collector visited the Bridge Point auto stand and interacted with auto drivers about their concerns. Discussions covered insurance coverage, safe driving practices, their children’s education and the availability of drinking water and toilet facilities near the auto stand.
He also enquired about other issues being faced by the auto drivers and assured them that their concerns would be considered appropriately.
