The Telangana state government has extended the deadline for ration card beneficiaries to complete their e-KYC by another month. The Civil Supplies Department announced the extension to August 31, as today was the original deadline.
Cardholders had been anxious, given that officials clarified that essential commodities would not be supplied if e-KYC was not completed; consequently, the government's announcement has brought relief to those who had not yet finished the process.
The officials also stated that a three-month ration supply would be distributed at once between August 1 and August 31.
