Telangana Hoteliers Assn elects new body
The Hotels and Restaurants Association of Telangana State elected its new executive committee for a 2-year term ( 2019-21).
Hyderabad: The Hotels and Restaurants Association of Telangana State elected its new executive committee for a 2-year term ( 2019-21).
Ashok Hemrajani, Group vice-president of Minerva Group of Hotels and Restaurants, was elected as the president.
Sailesh Mathur, Group GM of Abode Hotel and V Mohan, GM of the Mahaveer Hotel, were elected as Secretary-General and honorary Treasurer respectively.
Thomas Abhraham (GM, The Park Hyatt, Hyderabad), Rohit Dhar, (GM, The Westin, Mind space, Hyderabad), Reginald Corbett (Regional Manager, Lemon Tree Hotels, Hyderabad), Srinivas Lahiri (GM, Taj Deccan), Ravikrishan ( VP, Green Park Hotels, Hyderabad), Vijay Joshi ( VP, Pragati Resorts, Hyderabad), Pradeep Kumar Dutt (VP, D&J Hotels, Hyderabad), Ravish Daway (VP & GM, Quality Inn Residency, Hyderabad) were elected as the Vice-presidents.
HRATS members are mostly 3 to 5 star hotels, and fine-dine/ first class standalone outlets from Hyderabad and Telengana State.
This association earlier functioned as HRAAP (Hotels & Restaurants of Andhra Pradesh) in combined state.
The new body vowed to engage with all its members and stakeholders in improvement of the Tourism Sector in Telangana.
