Two rowdy sheeters detained under PD Act
Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh M Bhagwat on Friday detained two rowdy sheeters under PD Act under Vanasthalipuram and Neredmet police station limits.
Hyderabad: Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh M Bhagwat on Friday detained two rowdy sheeters under PD Act under Vanasthalipuram and Neredmet police station limits.
Accused M Ravi Varma (22) is a habitual offender since 2012 and was involved in cell phone thefts, criminal intimidation, extorsions and ganja peddling in different police stations of Rachakonda and Warangal Commissionerate limits.
After being released from jail on bail recently he again got involved in similar offences.
Another rowdy sheeter B Kalyan (23) has been engaging himself in unlawful acts and indulging in the acts of goondaism by acting as leader of criminal gang and committed attempt murder, causing hurt, criminal intimidation and extorsion from petty businessmen under Neredmet Police Station limits. He was involved in four offences.
Both the rowdy sheeters were remanded to judicial custody and lodged in Cherlapally Central Prison.
