VPT Deputy Chairman meets former Prez

Visakhapatnam: Visakhapatnam Port Trust Deputy Chairman P L Haranadh paid a courtesy visit to former President Pranab Mukherjee at Visakhapatnam Port Trust Guest House here on Sunday.

After felicitating the former President with a shawl and a memento, Haranadh explained the port operations, facilities and infrastructure available, among other details to Pranab Mukherjee, who came to the city on Saturday.

Pranab Mukherjee expressed satisfaction over the maintenance and upkeep of the port. Secretary of VPT C Harichandran, heads of various departments of VPT, senior officers and government officials were among those who met the former President.
