54 Coronavirus positive cases reported in Kadapa district

The situation is turning more worsen in Kadapa with the registration 54 caronaviru positive cases which has taken total number of cases up to 840 on Saturday
Kadapa: The situation is turning more worsen in Kadapa with the registration 54 caronaviru positive cases which has taken total number of cases up to 840 on Saturday.
Apart from 26 patients were discharged which total 333 from quarantine centers in the district.
It appears Kadapa district might have crossed 1000 cases like Kurnool district in coming week days if the situation continued in coming week days and may resume total lock down like Ananthapur, Prakasam districts.
In view of regulating the intensity of COVID-19 the administration has declared 17 new containment zones in the mandals like Badwel, Proddaturu, Valluru, Kadapa, Devunikadapa, Pullampet, Sambepalle, Khajipet, Kalasapadu, Duvvuru, Chapadu, Nandaluru, Porumamilla, Simhadripuram, Mydurukuru in the district.
Meanwhile the situation has become severe litmus test to the administration to tackle when there was just around 12 days remaining for visit of chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy schedule to visit on 8th July to participate in various developmental activities in Pulivendula on the occassion of his father YSRajasekhar Reddy.
