Araku MLA donates salary to his hometown in Visakhapatnam
Araku MLA Chetti Phalguna donated Rs 50,000, a part of his first salary, to his native village Seekari, Pedabayalu mandal.
Visakhapatnam: Araku MLA Chetti Phalguna donated Rs 50,000, a part of his first salary, to his native village Seekari, Pedabayalu mandal. During his maiden visit to the village after getting elected as MLA, he assured to contribute a part of his first salary to the village for its development.
He fulfilled his promise on Thursday by handing over a cheque for the amount to village heads. The MLA urged the village heads to use the amount for development activities.
He also directed them to come up with innovative ideas to improve the landscape of his hometown. The MLA stated that he wanted to make Seekari a role model, spearheading initiatives that would set the hamlet apart.
