City girl wins 3rd prize in Gita recitation in Visakhapatnam

A second year degree student of Aditya Degree College (affiliated to Andhra University), Old Gajuwaka, P Rajya Lakshmi bagged third prize in the recently concluded Bhagavad Gita sloka recitation contest which was held across the State.

Several students from Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, Godavari districts took part in the contest. The student received Rs.25,000 as cash prize which was presented by Tourism Minister M Srinivasa Rao. College Principal P Pradeep Kumar and the staff lauded the student for bringing laurels to the institution at a programme organised on the campus on Saturday.
