City TT players win state medals
The city Table Tennis players won medals at the State Ranking Table Tennis Championship held at Peddapuram, East Godavari district from August 30 to September 1.
Vijayawada: The city Table Tennis players won medals at the State Ranking Table Tennis Championship held at Peddapuram, East Godavari district from August 30 to September 1.
International player Shailu Noor Basha won two gold medals in the Youth Girls and Women category. R Sai Swarup won the gold medal in the Youth Boys category and P Samitha in the Cadet Girls category.
Najeera B Noor Basha won silver in the Youth Girls category and bronze in the Junior Girls category. Dimple Haneesha won gold in the non-medalist women's category, P Samhita won bronze medal in the non-medalist junior girls category, B Harshit won bronze medal in the cadet boys category and Tanvi won bronze medal in the mini cadet girls category.
TT Association state secretary SM Sultan, district secretary, K Balaram,coaches Damodar Reddy and Bhargavi Reddy congratulated the players on winning medals at the championship.
