CM Chandrababu Naidu Opens Vijayawada Utsav-2.0 Carnival

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the mega carnival held as part of Utsav-2.0 in Vijayawada, welcoming the cultural procession by blowing a conch shell.

The parade began with the Vijayawada Utsav Ratham, decorated with flowers from Kakaraparru and Kadiyam. A floral image of the Goddess, made with a variety of blossoms, was a key attraction.

Artists performed alongside horses and camels, while traditional drum and *sannayi* groups and *Garadi* folk performers added to the celebrations. Organisers said the procession aimed to showcase the region’s culture, traditions, artistic heritage, unity and history.
