Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority stated predicted rains in the state due to a low pressure area in northwest Bay of Bengal. It stated that the low pressure will further strengthen and move west-northwest direction in the next 24 hours.
Due time which, moderate to heavy rains expected in Srikakulam,Vizianagaram, Parvathipuram-Manyam, Alluri Sitarama Raju, Polavaram, Visakhapatnam, Anakapalli, Kakinada and Konaseema districts. Light to moderate rains are likely in some areas of East and West Godavari, Eluru, Krishna, NTR and Guntur districts.
While in Telangana, moderate rains are forecasted in Adilabad, Asifabad, Nirmal, Mancherial, Jagtial, Sircilla, Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri-Kothagudem and Peddapalli districts. Winds along with moderate rainfall will occur in Vikarabad, Ranga Reddy, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Sangareddy, Mahabubabad and Nizamabad.
