Kadapa: 30 students of IIIT at Idupulapaya down with viral fevers
As many as 30 students pursuing studies in IIIT located at Idupulapaya of Vempalle mandal in the district are suffering from viral fevers and water-borne diseases for the past four days.

It is learnt that the college management permitted the students to go to their native places after their health condition deteriorated.
According to the sources, large number of students are approaching the hospital located in the IIIT premises daily with complaints of fevers.
Dr Hasan Ali working in the hospital admitted that several students suffer from malaria, typhoid and other fevers.
However, he said, it will be difficult to find out whether they are suffering from Dengue as test kits are not available in the hospital.
There are about 9,000 students pursuing studies in Kadapa, Ongole IIITs located in the same campus.
