Micro carving artist gets doctorate at Universal Tamil University
Noted micro carving artist and social service activist Dr Nadimpalli Ravi Kumar was awarded an honorary doctorate from Universal Tamil University on Saturday.
Vijayawada: Noted micro carving artist and social service activist Dr Nadimpalli Ravi Kumar was awarded an honorary doctorate from Universal Tamil University on Saturday.
Ravi Kumar has shown his artistic skills by carving 2018 year calendar on a piece of chalk and carved various artworks on pencil lead with his proficiency and artistic skills and received applauds from the people.
Recognising his artistic skills, the Universal Tamil University honoured Ravi Kumar with honorary doctorate. Speaking to The Hans India Ravi Kumar said, "Earlier I received honorary doctorate from an American university for my contribution to society in service sector and I received this second doctorate for the contribution to the art. In all I received about 300 awards for my contribution towards art and service."
