Minister Narayana has laid the foundation stone for two towers at Amaravati’s Quantum Valley, as part of plans to establish Andhra Pradesh as a global technology hub.

The 47-storey towers, T1 and T2, will rise 206 metres on an 11-acre site at Uddandarayunipalem, beside Seed Access Road. Narayana inaugurated construction after performing special rituals on Tuesday.

He said quantum technology had applications in banking, cybersecurity, semiconductors and other advanced industries. A specialist facility with noise-control measures will house quantum mission operations, including equipment designed to work at temperatures approaching minus 270°C.

Narayana said the project aimed to attract world-class technology, create jobs for young people and provide opportunities for researchers. He added that the state was focused on development and the future of its youth, beyond political disputes.
