3. Says TDP chief of not being courageous enough to take action on his wayward MLAs
Ongole (Prakasam dist): Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan said TDP fears YSR Congress Party will take away its leaders and the Chief Minister has lost control of his MLAs.
He announced that Jana Sena was the right force to counter the goondaism of Jaganmohan Reddy.
He warned the YSRCP leaders to stop harassing Jana Sena leaders or else lakhs of Janasainiks would stand up to the goons from that party.
He participated in public meetings at Giddalur, Markapur, Darsi and Ongole in the district on Wednesday during which he requested the people to vote for Jana Sena, CPI, CPM, and BSP supported candidates.
In these meetings, Pawan Kalyan said that there was no development in Prakasam district ever since he spent his childhood in the district.
He said that the migration of people was continuing for livelihood.
Fluorosis and chronic kidney diseases are rampant in Giddalur, Markapuram, and Kanigiri, while the Cumbum tank has dried up completely, he lamented and promised that the Jana Sena government would complete the Pula Subbaiah Veligonda project in 18 months, construct check dams on Sagileru and other rivulets and try to increase groundwater levels.
Pawan Kalyan announced that as Chief Minister, he would affix his first signature on a file that gives Rs 5,000 pension to every farmer of 60 years and above age and Rs 8,000 per acre as income support to them.
He said that his government would establish Special Agriculture Zones (SAZs) like SEZs and train one lakh youth on agriculture.
He said that he would set up a fund with Rs 500 crore to address the kidney diseases in all constituencies and will sanction Rs 1,000 crore for the development of agriculture in the district.
The Jana Sena chief alleged that candidates like Sidda Raghava Rao are spending Rs 50 to 100 crores to win in the election and they would concentrate on making money after their win neglecting common people.
He promised to fulfil about 3lakh jobs in the government in the first six months and give 6 to 10 free gas cylinders depending on the number of family members, but irrespective of their income.
He said that a common school system will be introduced in the state and free education up to post-graduation will be provided under their rule.
He said that insurance policy of Rs 10 lakh will be given for each family for the medical expenses.
He said that free coaching will be given for the youth to participate in the competitive exams and vocational training and skill development courses would be taken up before the western Prakasam area is opened for industrialisation.
He promised to see a Sainik school is opened at Giddalur as about 20,000 people are working in the army from the area.
He also said that about 25,000 youth with just Class X qualification will be trained as police commandoes in the state.
He said that his government will provide weekly off to the police personnel and loans for constructing own house.
The Jana Sena president said that he came into politics to bring a change in society but they were crushed in 2009.
He announced that this is 2019 and he is experienced and learned a lot in the meantime.
"Jaganmohan Reddy calls me the actor, instead of calling by name.
Yes, I am an actor, acts before camera, but never acted in politics like him.
Then what should Jagan be called, who came from jail after spending two years? Jaganmohan Reddy has no moral right to criticise me," he said.
Demanding YSRCP to announce its alliance with BJP and TRS officially, he described the party a mix of TRS and BJP and the TDP 'a failure'.
He said that the TDP leaders are busy with their contracts and deals while the YSRCP leaders do not go to the Assembly, both neglecting the problems of the public.
