Jana Sena chief and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has reacted to the shocking news of veteran Bollywood actor-director Nana Patekar’s demise. According to news reports, the actor was admitted to a hospital in Goa after he collapsed due to a heart attack.
In a series of posts on X, formerly Twitter, Pawan Kalyan expressed his grief and shock over the actor’s death. “I was deeply disturbed by the sad news of Nana Patekar’s sudden demise. I pray that his soul finds peace. Nana was a great actor who always delivered his best on screen. His role in Krativeness was indeed phenomenal,” he wrote.
The actor also paid tribute to Patekar’s work in movies such as Parinda, Khamoshi, Tirangaa, Agni Sakshi, Natsamrat, Ab Tak Chhappan, and Apaharan. Kalyan further mentioned that he was a proud member of the Indian Army and extended his heartfelt condolences to his family.
As per the news report, Patekar suffered a cardiac arrest after collapsing in the Dona Paula region of Goa. His family members rushed to the hospital and tried their level best to revive him with the help of doctors. However, the efforts went in vain after they performed CPR on him for around 45 minutes. He was declared dead at 5:20 am. Reportedly, several Bollywood celebrities have also expressed their shock and sadness over the actor’s demise.
