Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and IT and Education Minister Nara Lokesh wish Telugu people on Dussehra, conveying happiness, prosperity and welfare to people of the state.

Lokesh said Vijayadashami is the day which marks the victory of good over evil. The minister said Goddess Durga has defeated the demon Mahishasura and performed the great deed of establishing the rule of the virtuous. He wished people's success in all their endeavors.

Pawan Kalyan said Vijayadashami is the festival that marks the victory of good over evil and righteousness over unrighteousness. He said people across the country were celebrating Dussehra with great enthusiasm. The day is being celebrated as per their traditions in Telugu states while worshipping the Divine Mother.

He said this year’s Sharannavaratri celebrations at Indrakeeladri were enhanced by visits from the President of India and chief ministers of several states. The national-level Saras Mela, held in Vijayawada as part of the festivities, had further raised the state’s profile.

Pawan said the coalition government, with the blessings of Goddess Sri Kanaka Durgamma, was committed to equal opportunities for all sections of society and the state’s overall development. He wished people happiness, peace and prosperity, and prayed for the Divine Mother’s blessings upon the nation.
