Police Impose PD Act on Red Sander smugglers
After their efforts in preventing red sander smuggling expected results, the police administration has decided to impose the PD Act on the smugglers who were responsible for illegal transportation of Red sander in the district.

It may be recalled that in the earlier during the regime of PHD Ramakrishna police imposed PD Act on as many as 50 more national, interstate and local smugglers of their repeated involvement in the illegal transportation of Red Sander smuggling. Police also arrested international smugglers on the same charges.
However, after assuming charge district, SP KVVN Anburajan initiated stringent measures for suppressing such illegal trade by bringing awareness in the public. According to the Suspect, Sheet would be opened against a person who arrested the illegal transportation of Red sander as it will be considered as bailable offence. If he continued the same activity police will impose PD Act under stringent acts awarded severe punishment.
