Rain and strong winds expected in AP, Telangana states
A heat wave with sultry nights is expected in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The temperatures are already touching 36 degrees Celsius in certain regions.

There would be a development of low pressure area in the South East Bay of Bengal due to cyclonic circulation over North Andaman Sea, which would develop further into a depression.
According to Amaravati Meteorological Centre, the north-easterly winds prevail in the lower troposphere over Andhra Pradesh and Yanam. In isolated places of Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema region, rain or thundershower is expected on Sunday. There will also be strong winds blowing at 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.
Hyderabad Meteorological Centre forecasted scattered rain in Telangana region because of weather conditions in Bay of Bengal. Light to moderate rainfall and strong winds of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour are expected.
However, despite the likelihood of rain in isolated regions, the forecast of the department is dry weather in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
