Rajamahendravaram: Urban MLA Adireddy Bhavani alleged that the people residing in 41st division are suffering from various health problems because of dumping yard.

She visited dumping yard here on Tuesday and enquired about the health problems of the people. Personal protective equipment (PPE) kits and other material used relating to coronavirus treatment are being dumped at the yard. The dump is posing various problem to the residents in the division. Foul smell emitting from the dumping yard is also creating more problems. The corporation assured to shift the dumping yard from the existing place, but it did not happen.

She asked the municipal commissioner A Kishore to assure to take care of the health of people residing in 41st division. She also asked the commissioner about the problem in shifting the dumping yard from the division.

In many cities the respective corporations are arranging dumping yards away to the cities. But in Rajamahendravaram, it is located in the residential area, she alleged.

Later, she submitted a memorandum to the commissioner in this regard. TDP leaders K Joga Rao, M Pandu, S Venkatesh, M Ravi Kumar and others were present.
