Rajamahendravaram: TDP leaders Adireddy Appa Rao and Ganni Krishna said that 16,000 people belonging to the Backward Classes lost their chance to contest in the local body elections because of Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy's attitude.
Participating in Praja Chaitanya Yatra in the 38th division here on Friday, they said BCs were cheated by YSRCP government. Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy who assured for the welfare of BCs during elections, cheated them after coming to power, they alleged.Many BCs are expressing unhappiness over the attitude of Reddy and now they were in doldrums about their reservations, they added.
TDP leaders V Rambabu, VS Rao, KN Kumar and others were present.
