Students felicitate St Teresa faculty members in Eluru
As part of the Teachers Day celebrations, a large number of students felicitated their faculty members at Ch SD St Teresa College for Women here on Thursday.
Eluru: As part of the Teachers Day celebrations, a large number of students felicitated their faculty members at Ch SD St Teresa College for Women here on Thursday. The students performed in various cultural programmes to highlight the greatness of their teachers.
They participated in singing, staging plays, performing dance and other activities and expressed their gratitude to the faculty members for educating them. They praised their teachers through their programmes which were the highlight of the Teachers Day celebrations.
A play staged by students elaborated on the transformation of gurukul teaching into modern day teaching. Though the systems continued to change in society, the role and significance to teacher remained key for the education system, the students portrayed through their play.
The faculty also took part in an activity to entertain the students. Principal Dr Sr Marietta Demello and others spoke on the occasion.
