While expressing governments commitment over improving the living standards of farming community, Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy assured that government will extend all help to the farmers who have incurred huge crop losses due to recent untimely rains.
Kadapa: While expressing government commitment over improving the living standards of farming community, Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy assured that the government will extend all help to the farmers who have incurred huge crop losses due to recent untimely rains.
Speaking after inspecting the crops which were destroyed in Vempalle, Chakrayapet and Mydukuru mandals, he said that horticulture and traditional crops in thousands of acres were damaged.
Performing cultivation in Kadapa district turned like gambling with untimely rains and most of the time due to severe dry spell conditions, he said. The MP directed the officials to prepare estimations over crop losses as he will bring the issue to the notice of both central and state governments. Officials from Horticulture and Agriculture departments were present.
