The services of multi-faceted personality Paturi Rajagopala Naidu were lauded by several leaders on the occasion of his birth centenary celebrations held on a grand note at Amara Raja auditorium at Karakambadi on Saturday.
Tirupati: The services of multi-faceted personality Paturi Rajagopala Naidu were lauded by several leaders on the occasion of his birth centenary celebrations held on a grand note at Amara Raja auditorium at Karakambadi on Saturday. 'Satavadhani' Medasani Mohan presided over the function while former deputy speaker of AP Assembly Mandali Buddha Prasad, Tirupati MLA B Karunakar Reddy and others participated.
The speakers have described that literature and society were the two eyes of Rajagopala Naidu (Rajanna) throughout his life. He had a rare political career. His lifestyle, personality and literary talents were exemplary and he reached all heights in the social service, Buddha Prasad said.
MLA Karunakar Reddy recalled his memories with Rajanna during his radical student days. He added that by reading Rajanna life history, one can become a responsible citizen. Former Minister and daughter of Rajanna, G Aruna Kumari said that all the works of her father who laid a foundation stone for literary field in the district will be published soon.
Guntur MP Galla Jayadev, Dr. Ramadevi, famous writer Dr. Vempalli Abdul Khader, Dr. G Damodar Naidu, Dr. Kiran Kranth Choudary, MM Vinodini, Dr. Bhuman Subramanyam Reddy, R Chandrasekhar Reddy, Rasani, RM Uma Maheswar Rao and others also spoke on the occasion.
