Former MP Vijaya Sai Reddy says he will reveal details of a new political party on Vijayadashami.
In a post on X, he said the party’s name, flag and agenda were being finalised during the Dussehra season. He dismissed criticism of his plans as “cheap propaganda”.
Reddy said the party would challenge what he called Andhra Pradesh’s two “family-run parties” and develop new leadership in every constituency. He added that Gen Z would hold the real power, while he would take a role similar to that of Bal Thackeray in Maharashtra.
