Vijayawada: The students of Artmate Creative School excelled in state-level painting competition organised by NTPC (Simhadri) Corporation, said the school head A Sunil Kumar.
Addressing the gathering at the appreciation programme organised here on Saturday, Sunil Kumar said that NTPC organised painting competition on 'Power Saving' for students and their students showed their talent and won prizes.
The first prize winner was given a prize money of Rs 50,000, second prize Rs 30,000 and third prize Rs 20,000. In group A, the first prize was won by M Parnika Vardhini, consolation prize was won by YVS Kartekeya, in group B, N Yegnesh Phani won the first prize and third prize was won by N Neelesh and YU Swetha won consolation prize.
He said that the winners of the both the groups will participate in the national painting competition held at Delhi on December 12, said Sunil Kumar.
