Vizianagaram: Deputy Chief Minister and Revenue Minister Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose said that the government will rectify mistakes in land and revenue records by June 30.

He stressed the need for coordination between the Revenue and Stamps and Registration departments to ensure better services to people.

The Revenue Minister along with Minister for Housing Ch Sri Ranganatha Raju on Tuesday held a review meeting on house site pattas distribution programme at the Collector's office here.

Joint Collector Kishore Kumar explained the technical problems to the Ministers regarding land acquisition and allotment for the housing scheme.

Bose said such problems were arising due to the lapses in revenue records and they would be rectified by the end of June. He instructed the revenue officers to maintain flawless records.

He said that the previous TDP government has kept pending payment for bills worth Rs 45,000 crore and accumulated loans worth Rs 3 Lakh crore. The YSRCP government has been working hard to deliver every promise given during elections, he said.

Bose criticised the TDP leaders for obstructing the land distribution for poor in Amaravati. He pointed out that the previous TDP government had allotted land to the RBI at Rs 4 crore per acre while the same land was allotted to the TDP activists at Rs 50 lakh per acre.

Housing Minister Sri Ranganatha Raju said that distributing 25 Lakh houses pattas all over the State will be a historical event. He said that the pending bills for the houses sanctioned earlier would be released soon.

Both the Ministers visited the layout developed at Gunkalam village and directed the officials to provide all amenities there. District Collector M Hari Jawaharlal also participated in the programme.
