Thalapathy Vijay's new outing Bigil has hit the screen worldwide yesterday. Directed by Atlee, this movie opened big at all the released centers. The duo of Vijay and Atlee earlier delivered blockbusters Theri and Mersal. Keeping up to the expectations, Bigil became their hat-trick blockbuster.
Bigil is raging in overseas as well. In North America alone, the film collected more than $200k on Friday. With this, it became the highest-grossing Indian film yesterday, surpassing the Bollywood biggie Housefull 4. This proves the stamina of Vijay, who beat the collections of an Akshay Kumar's film.
Bigil will continue its dream run at the box office due to the positive word of mouth. Thus, it can set up or break many records in the coming days. Nayanthara played the female lead in the film while AR Rahman composed the music for it.
