Soorarai Pottru OTT Release: Suriya Breaks Silence
After facing a lot of backlash from the theatre owners for his decision to release his home production Ponmagal Vanthal starring his wife Jyothika on OTT, Suriya recently held a heart to heart conversation with his fans on social media.
After facing a lot of backlash from the theatre owners for his decision to release his home production Ponmagal Vanthal starring his wife Jyothika on OTT, Suriya recently held a heart to heart conversation with his fans on social media. Suriya is now awaiting the release of his next titled Soorarai Pott The Tamil flick is one of the most awaited movies this year. The film is directed by Sudha Kongra.
Now, with the covid pandemic delaying release of movies around the globe, there were talks that Suriya might release his next movie too on OTT. However, when a fan asked him the same during a live chat, the Kollywood star was quick to clarify saying Soorarai Pottru will release first release in theatres unlike Ponmagal Vanthal.
Suriya also admitted that there was nothing like watching the movie on the big screen as there was a lot of effort which had gone into the movie. Besides, he also aid that he was looking forward to its release in theatres.
Soorarai Pottru is about the life story of Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath. The movie also stars besides Suriya, Mohan Babu, Paresh Rawal, Jackie Shroff among others.Soorarai Pottru is jointly produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment and Guneet Monga's Sikhya Entertainment. Stay tuned for updates.
