Parents’ support drives dreams: Nandini Reddy

The latest film ‘Impure’, produced by Varahi Mallipamula and Sridevi Mallipamula, recently held its grand pre-release event after completing its shoot. Directed by Nishanthi Ivani, the film stars Sai Krishna, Yashna and Abhijith in the lead roles. The makers unveiled the film’s trailer and a song during the event, which was attended by acclaimed director Nandini Reddy as the chief guest.

Director Nandini Reddy said, “Namaste to everyone. There are two main reasons why I came to this event. The first is my mentor, Krishna Vamsi garu. He called and asked me to attend, and I simply couldn’t say no. The second reason is director Nishanthi. I’ve known her for nearly 15 years, and she’s one of my closest friends. We recently worked together on ‘Inti Bangaram’. Nishanthi actually had a role in that film, but it was removed during editing. Sorry, Nishanthi, we’ll definitely work together soon.

Every Telugu person dreams of making a film, and that’s what makes Telugu audiences so special. Everyone calls Prudhvi sir ‘30 Years Industry’, but for me, he’s Evergreen Prudhvi because he’s one of the most talented actors in both Telugu and Tamil cinema. We all worked as assistant directors before he became such a celebrated actor.

I must especially appreciate Sridevi garu for fulfilling her daughter’s dream. Parents’ encouragement is the biggest reason we can achieve anything in life. I wholeheartedly wish ‘Impure’ a big success and hope it brings recognition to everyone associated with it.”
