Anjuman-e-Fannan is back to host another event in the city of Hyderabad. This time Anjuman in association with the world renowned Rekhta Foundation is bringing to you an evening full of Prose, Poetry and Music.

Shaam-e-Rekhta, is a tribute to the splendid legacy of Urdu and a celebration of its timeless beauty. Defining grace, lyrical beauty and stirring a multitude of emotions, Urdu as a language inhibits a magnificent world of its own. To commemorate the phenomenal outreach of Urdu across the world, this intimate event invites Urdu lovers. artists and all those whose hearts and minds have been touched by the language to spend an evening celebrating it.

The event will have a session on Urdu Prose, a segment dedicated to Music where a group will be performing qawwali and then a fusion of Urdu to western music will be presented. In the end a Symposium of young poets from around the country will present their poetry to the audience in a Mushairah.
