India’s beloved music, arts, nature and culture festival, Echoes of Earth, gears up to celebrate its 10th edition on Dec 5th & 6th in a new location at foothills of Nandi hills. The anniversary edition will see an evolution of the festival’s offerings on the music, creative expression, environment and cultural exploration front.

Celebrating ‘Arteries of Life’ - a tribute to India’s river ecosystems, the festival will witness music and art around the theme of the vital role rivers play in our lives and the urgent need to protect this lifeline.

The 10 th edition will see 4 specially curated stages with performances from an eclectic mix of Indian and International artists. Washington D.C based Thievery Corporation - a critically acclaimed and commercially successful electronic music duo, who are set to perform their Asia debut at Echoes, will be marking their 30 th year in music with an appearance at the festival. Known for their eclectic mix of dub reggae, bossa nova, Indian ragas and world rhythms, they have created a unique, enduring sound.

Yussef Dayes Experience, a London-based collective that fuses West African rhythms, Caribbean rock and soul, and UK grime, is set to return to the festival, while Hamburg-based techno collective MEUTE, also debuting in India, will provide a contrasting blend of techno meets brass.

Other international acts performing at the 10 th edition include Parra for Cuva, Thai multi-disciplinary NOTEP, Lubiana, Manchester space-rock band HENGE, Dutch DJ Joris Voorn and a host of Indian artists. When Chai Met Toast will also be celebrating their 10th year with a special anniversary set.

Other local and international acts performing at the festival include Weval, Arjun Vagale B2B Anyasa, Sweely, Hearthug, Fish56Octagon, Sound Therapy ft. Calm Chor, Life Enjoyer’s Club, Elvis Lobo, Ranjit Arapurakal, Curtain Blue, Monophonik, Ulloo, Tamil Jazz Collective, Hashbass, Film B2B Rafiki, Answer, Alboe, Tristan Bres, Sakré, Syeyl, Kandy Kuri B2B Bombie and Kamari.

Founder & Festival Director, Roshan Netalkar said, “Reaching the 10th edition is a huge milestone for us as we set out with the goal to create an Indian-centric festival with global appeal and gravitas. Apart from music, art installations and environmental consciousness continue to be a key pillar of the experience with the 10 th edition of Echoes of Earth exploring ‘Arteries of Life’ with a focus on India’s rivers and water ecosystems. Participating artists across the festival’s art programme will be using their creative expression to interpret rivers and water ecosystems using upcycled & recycled material for a unique audience experience that offers a new lens to look at our environment.
