Adilabad: Free food served to police job candidates

Adilabad: The candidates, who have been preparing for jobs in the Police department, were served free lunch at the at BC study Circle here on Monday.

A 60-day free training programme is ongoing for 200 candidates selected for the posts of Constable and Sub-Inspector of Police under the auspices of the BC and SC Welfare Departments.

For the convenience of candidates undergoing training, district Collector Rajarshi Shah launched a two-month free Annaprasada Seva programme under the sponsorship of the ISKCON Temple.

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector specially congratulated the ISKCON for providing free nutritious Annaprasada to the candidates undergoing training. He hoped that the candidates preparing for competitive exams would study hard, take advantage of the available training and facilities and get jobs.

Later, the Collector himself served food to the candidates and had lunch with them. On this occasion, he inquired about the candidates’ training, exam preparation, and preparation process.
