Hyderabad: Anti Corruption Bureau officials on Thursday conducted raids across ten locations targeting alleged benamies of suspended DSP K Bheem Reddy in Hyderabad and Zaheerabad, seizing Rs 1.35 crore unaccounted cash and 14 litres of foreign liquor. Continuing probes into Bheem Reddy's disproportionate assets and financial transactions, investigators raided premises belonging to suspected associate Bomma Venkatesh.
ACB officials uncovered the illicit cash and liquor during searches, suspecting Bheem Reddy maintained financial ties with over eight individuals. Preliminary investigations led officers to target Venkatesh based on specific inputs regarding shared transactions. Bheem Reddy was previously arrested for amassing assets worth crores of rupees, with ongoing inquiries revealing extensive benami operations.
