State BC welfare and district In-charge Minister Ponnam Prabhakar
Hyderabad: State BC welfare and district In-charge Minister Ponnam Prabhakar announced that 'Indiramma' homes will soon be sanctioned for eligible individuals in Hyderabad who already own land but wish to build their own houses.
The minister said that, as part of the pilot project for ‘Indiramma’ Housing Towers, a ‘mop-up’ lottery will be held on Wednesday to re-allot housing units that were cancelled due to various reasons such as across the 16 constituencies where the initial allotment process had already been completed.
Following the previous allotment in these 16 constituencies, approximately 1,700 housing units have now become available again across 14 of these constituencies for various reasons. The e-lottery will be conducted using the list of eligible applicants who had previously applied.
Housing Board Vice-Chairman V P Gautham stated that the construction of 'Indiramma' Housing Towers will continue until every eligible individual is provided with a home. He announced that notifications for similar projects in four other assembly constituencies located within the Outer Ring Road (ORR) will be issued soon.
