Awareness drive on skin health held
A Powerpoint presentation was made by Dr Bhumesh Kumar Katakam, honorary joint secretary of IADVL, national and scientific chairpersons of IADVL Telangana, on the World Skin Health Day on the theme of IADVL 2019 – fight the topical steroid misuse to maintain good skin health. Participants included Dr SB Kavitha, Dr Sudha Vani, Dr Sathya Sri, Dr Shahana and the faculty of GH and GMC.
Secunderabad: On the occasion of World Skin Health Day, an awareness drive was conducted in OPD block and campus of Gandhi Hospital and Gandhi Medical College, followed by sensitisation on misuse of topical steroids and tips given to improve skin health and how to avoid skin damage to all medicos by Dr P Narasimha Rao, national president of Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists ( IADVL), Dr O Shravan Kumar, Principal of Gandhi Medical College, Dr P Shravan Kumar, Ssuperintendent of Gandhi Hospital, Dr G Narsimha Rao Netha, president of TS chapter of IADVL, Dr T Rajeev Singh, general secretary of TS chapter of IADVL.
