CM Revanth Reddy livid over tardy progress of construction works

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy expressed anger over the slow pace of construction works at the prestigious Warangal Super Speciality Hospital.

The Chief Minister held a high-level review on the progress of the Super Speciality Hospital with top officials on Monday. The CM enquired the officials about the reasons behind the slow pace of works despite the state government sanctioned funds through ‘Green Channel’.

The officials were ordered to take up the construction of the hospital works round-the-clock for the next 30 days.

CM Revanth Reddy gave specific instructions to the constitution of a coordination committee to expedite the works, appointment of special officers, assign specific tasks to the designated officials and everyday supervision of the works by the district collector.

The Chief Minister emphasised coordination between all departments engaged in the construction of the super speciality hospital. The Medical and Health department officials were directed to start out patient (OP) services on the lines of TIMS- Sanath Nagar which launched the medical care services recently.

During the meeting, the CM sought the details of the landscape gardens to create a pleasant environment around the hospital. Construction of staff quarters at the TIMS- Sanathnagar and entrust the hospital maintenance to an agency was also reviewed in the meeting.
