Goud welfare association extends support to TRS

He said that the association has taken the decision to support TRS party as the CM KCR has taken several welfare schemes for the benefit of their community. During the previous Congress rule, several toddy workers lost their employment as the government had shut down the toddy shops in the city, he said.
As soon as TRS party came into power, the toddy shops were reopened in the city and have created employment opportunities for the community members, he said. Criticising TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy, Lakshman Rao said that grave injustice was done to their community in the allocation of seats and therefore has decided to leave the Congress party and join TRS party.
